After the talk by Susan Branz on Dr. King and the Civil Right Movents, the songs related to the
Movement were sung with the audience at the second half of MLK Day Benefit Concert, including
We Shall Overcome. And Hisashi Miura sang I Have a Dream.and Songs of Prayers with Yoshio

The marque at Paramount Theater in Oakland, California where Leonard Cohen and his band performed
three nights in a row-April 13, 14, 15, all of which I attended. These concerts were literally the best
concerts that I personally had experienced. He was just breathtakingly agile, notwithstandind his age of 74.

Toshiharu Maruyama singing one of his new songs "Bullpen Elegy" at Oread Open Mike. Among
the songwriters who come to sing at Oread he is the most prolific. It is something to be commended
for a person who is as old as Bob Dylan and who started writing songs seriously only a few years ago.

At the finale of the Open Mike on Oc 17, 2009 T. Maruyama, M. Akahane, T. Ohtsuki and
K. Fujimori sang "Ano Subarashii Ai wo Moichido (Wish we could love again like we used to)"
in memory of the composer of the song, Kazuhiko Kato, who had reportedly decided to end

We've had a really warm autumn this year but all of a sudden yesterday the temperature dropped
drastically. It was -2℃ yesterday morning in Imamura. The leaves of the trees changed their colors
